Music has been an important element of my life since I started practicing the piano in 2005. I did not have a natural ability for the piano, and therefore I struggled greatly to develop the appropriate dexterity to preform in a fluid manner. After a few years of relentless practice I felt comfortable enough to start practicing more complex pieces and by the time I reached high school I was already playing pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, and Bach.
During high school I started exploring other musical instruments and fully immersed myself in the musical arts; I practiced for at least ten hours per week. I had always hosted a profound passion for science, and therefore chose to major in Astrobiology. As my academic career escalated in difficulty, I had to focus on my studies and unfortunately drastically decreased my hours of practice.
